no, you cant do it word for word.
some little words are left out and others are changed around.
for example in the song it says:
“you were so scared”
it would change to
“scared you were”
when you sign it.
so you would use the sign for “scared” then “you” and then “were”
you would leave out “so”
or could change it to the sign for “very”

You don’t sign word for word. You interpret the meaning of the lyrics. There is a girl on Youtube that is AMAZING! Her name on youtube is allyballybabe if you search her, she has a load of songs for you to look at! It’s not the song you’re doing, but you can get a better idea of how to interpret lyrics. Good luck!
