I have a job where I see several deaf patients, and I am wanting to learn some basic sign language…relating to money, buying things, medicine, things like that. Any tips? Is there a “sign language for business” book or website?

My co worker knows sign language and he told me that you should start by learning to spell with your finger (the alphabet) He also told me that the best practice is what you already have to be around deaf people. I wan to to learned as well I am sure there are classes that you can take.
