We are a family of 5. My dad is going deaf. He is also illiterate. But he is learning how to read. We need to learn how to sign so we could Communicate with each other. There is two children and my mom has trouble understanding things (she had a stroke). How can I find someone who is willing to teach my family? I don’t know where to look.

Try a local university. Many offer ASL classes, so you may be able to find a tutor to help your family. Or see if there are any books available.
