My gay male friend have another friend he wants me to start hanging out with also but he’s deaf in both ears. All 3 of us been hanging out but I feel so bad because I can’t communicate with him. Has anyone ever learned sign language? if so was it easy to get the hang of it?

I think it will open you up to many possibilities learning sign language. I think it’s great, and it will open you up to be able to talk to others who are deaf. I say learn it. What do you have to lose.
Learn it! What’s the harm, you will be able to communicate with a new friend and many more. If anything, it’ll be something to add to your resume….
Sign is AWESOME! And not too tricky to learn the basics. First make sure you know what kind of sign the guy is using (There’s different types for different regions), then go Google “learn *this type of sign*”.
There’s instructional videos out there. That’s how I learned some of my sign. It’s really useful in bars where you can’t hear anything anyways.
