I was thinking of taking Sign Language 1 and 2 for some electives. I am currently enrolled in a 2-year nursing program at a technical college. Would it boost my salary opportunities to know both Spanish and sign language?

who knows sign language?
i am interested in learning sign language, however i would like to know how difficult it is to learn..? i don’t know any sign language at all and i could sign up for sign language 1 next year. (strictly for my benefit and curiosity) i would like the class to be more fun rather than work. so i guess my questions are
is learning sign language hard? is it easier than learning other languages ( french, spanish..)

I have been learning a few odd phrases of sign language and I would like to expand my knowledge. Does anyone know how to say I love you in sign language? Are there any good websites which can help me learn a bit more sign language? I have looked online but cant seem to find anything very good. Thank you!

How should I go about learning Sign Language?
I’m making a goal to learn sing language. Now my question is how do I go about to do this? Do I learn the grammar and structure of the language first (I’m aware that it is much different than English) or do I learn the signs first? How do they teach you in a class? And when it comes to the learning the signs part, how do I learn all of them, there are so many! Please don’t just give me a list of sites, try answering the question. Thanks in advance to all the answers, I really appreciate it.
