My son is almost 7 months old and I intend on teaching my son sign language. My husband and I both had hearing problems and we just want to give him a way to communicate with us if he has the same problems. Any suggestions on teaching and when to begin?

I need to take 2 years of a language in college.
I tried spanish in high school, but I didn’t pick it up at all. I had a very hard time learning it. I had my worst grades in spanish.
Now I need to take a foreign language in college.
Which should I take? Should I take spanish again (which I know will be hard for me)? or should I try sign language?

So basically teaching sign language to children who otherwise wouldn’t get the opportunity because of where they live, say rural east Africa for example.

I’m looking for some websites or books that people have had positive results with in learning sign language. I took some classes when I was younger and still remember most of it, but I would like to learn more. Money is tight, so I’m hoping to find some free resources if possible.
