Should I learn sign language or to speak spanish?

I have decided to either learn to speak spanish fluently or learn American sign language. I can’t do both so I have to choose one. Does anyone know if one is more marketable than the other. My goal from learning one of these languages is to make myself more marketable career wise.

Where can I learn sign language?

My friend’s son is deaf. He’s an absolutely adorable kid.
My friend likes to go to parties with family and friends, and occasionally she brings her son if she knows enough children will be there. She’s a friend of the family, so I’m usually at every gathering with her.

Because he can’t communicate with anyone except his mom, it seems like he feels left out. So I want to learn some phrases in sign language to not make him feel so lonely.

Where can I go to learn sign language. Are there any internet programs available?

What classes should I take to learn sign language to possibley become an interperter?

I am going to be teaching math/science in middle school (grades 6-8). American Sign Language (ASL) has become a personal hobby of mine. Eventually, I would like to become certified, so that in my classroom I can convey my lessons both in spoken English and ASL. What do I need to do? Where should I take my classes?

Are French sign language and American sign language very different?

I know the differences in the alphabet. I’m currently studying American sign language and am fairly good at it, I know fsl and asl are similar i was wondering how different they really are and if it’d be easy to learn the differences in signs and culture in french sign language already knowing american sign language, or if it’d be like having to learn the language all over again

If i Major is American Sign Language and minor is education would that be ideal for me to teach ASL in school?

I want to teach American sign language so i am going to major in America sign language and minor in education, is this what i need? or can i just major in American Sign Language? and does anyone know any schools that offers American sign language as a B.A?
