Would it be possible for an adult to learn braille?

I’m 35 and not as agile in the brain as I used to be LOL!!

I would like to learn Australian Sign Language and braille but I’m not sure if it’s too late for me to learn braille. I know I would never get fluent in ASL, but I think I could do it slowly. But braille – that just seems really hard.

Has anyone learned it as an adult?

Have you heard of day cares teaching sign language to all kids?

I heard that some daycares are teaching sign language to all kids. Supposedly young children can pick it up before they can even talk. They say you can communicate with your child earlier by doing this, like when they are hungry, thirsty or have to go to the bathroom. Do you think this is really possible?

Where can I get some good dvds in asl/sign language?

I have been working on learning asl for a couple of years now. I know a good many words but I have a lot of difficulty putting sentences together asl style. And I seriously need to work on my receiving skills. I’m not really wanting dvds about learning asl, because they’re just not working for me. What I really need is a dvd that’s only in asl and not made just for students. The content is not really important, but just something to get me started so I will learn to read signs better.
