Would you say that Sign Language is the most simplistic form of language?

I would sorta say yes, because it is only showing hand movements and facial feature movements. Also, you would not need to learn phonetic sounds or whole words but rather movements. And would you say it is the fastest language to learn? or just a moderate learning speed?
Should Rosetta Stone make American Sign Language? I think they should, but instead of pictures they use short video clips of people doing the signs, I’d love to learn it like that.

Is Print Media Doomed Worldwide or Just In The US?

Is Print Media Doomed Worldwide or Just In The US?
As I walked in the headquarters of the Jawa Pos —the flagship newspaper of one of South East Asia’s largest print media empires—I was wondering just how screwed my profession is; globally I mean. Is the death of print a world-wide certainty or merely an American reality? After all a lot of “old economy” businesses are thriving in emerging markets thanks to Greenfield advantages and rising middle …

Has anyone hear learned/taught themself ASL(sign language)?

Im watching MTV’s “True Life” and this documentary is about deaf people living in a hearing world. I consider myself a lover of all languages which is why I am trying to learn. ASL has never crossed my mind as a valuable language to learn, Im starting to see that it is.
Who has successfully taught themselves ASL and how long did it take you?
ASL speakers, can you tell if someone is a newbie when it comes to sign language? Like if they stumble around w/ their hands? Is it hard to comprehend them?
sorry, I meant to say “Has anyone HERE, not HEAR”

“Ironic” by Alanis Morrisette, expressed in American Sign Language. [All lyrics and music are property and copyright of Alanis Morrisette. I am not the owner, nor do I take any credit. Spanish/american english sign language?

i am 100% bilingual (spanish/english) and i am interested in becoming a spanish professor BUT with a twist. I want to learn American sign language and Lenguage de señas de mexico ( basically spanish sign language) and teach using those tools. My question is, would i be considered to know 4 languages? or just as trilingual since its sign language either way.
the “mexican” sign language was an example, i am sure there is an “universal” spanish sign language i could learn and then learn the specific words for each specific spanish speaking country (which is what i did with my spanish). I just need to know if i will receive credit for 4 languages or just 3.
