I want to be multilingual, what language should I learn now?
I know some American Sign Language, because my brother is deaf. I have been taking French for 5 years. I find it easy to write 40 minute essays in French and write an entire paper without a dictionary. I was wondering which language should I learn? Gaelic or Norwegian. Both are dear to me, because they are major parts of my heritage. My last name is Norwegian. And I am the only person I know who actually celebrates St. Patrick’s day, with a tradition dinner.

Would both pen pal and a dictionary plus a Chinese kit help me learn the language faster?
I’m going to be learning the language tonight. And I did sign up for pen pal international, I did get a kit from the library. But don’t have my own Chinese dictionary. Should I go for a used one?

ASL Song – “You and Me” Lifehouse
So, I’ve still not yet learned the proper use of classifiers (nor do I even know them all). Having said that, if I used it wrong here, TELL ME! This song was hard to interpret, but once I ‘figured it out’ it was a lot of fun. Enjoy! PS: I’m surprised that I can’t find this song already interpreted on YouTube somewhere. (Watch, I’m going to find out I’m wrong very shortly) LYRICS: What day is it? And in what month? This clock never seemed so alive I can’t keep up and I can’t back down I’ve been losing so much time Cause it’s you and me and all of the people with nothing to do Nothing to lose And it’s you and me and all of the people And I don’t know why, I can’t keep my eyes off of you All of the things that I want to say just aren’t coming out right I’m tripping on words You’ve got my head spinning I don’t know where to go from here Cause it’s you and me and all of the people with nothing to do Nothing to prove And it’s you and me and all of the people And I don’t know why, I can’t keep my eyes off of you There’s something about you now I can’t quite figure out Everything she does is beautiful Everything she does is right Cause it’s you and me and all of the people with nothing to do Nothing to lose And it’s you and me and all of the people And I don’t know why, I can’t keep my eyes off of you and me and all of the people with nothing to do Nothing to prove And it’s you and me and all of the people And I don’t know why, I can’t keep my eyes off of you What day is it? And ….
Has anyone tried baby sign language?
I done baby sign with my now three year old twins, it really seemed to cut down on their frustration level. They were doing simple signs at 7 months, my son is not talking but is learning sign at his preschool class. His speech teacher said that he picks it up very quickly, he in turn teaches his twin sister.
