  3. im buying this whole set for my lil girl she is not deaf but this is great for ed for her

  4. Um… sign language was not created for people who can communicate in normal ways. Children who are deaf or have other communication difficulties actually need sign language. So yes. They will sign it at 3 and 7 and 12 and 40. I do use it as a second language and want my child to know a vast array of words. I learn them with him so I can understand too. Its what parents do!

  5. why does a kid need to say elephant? Chicken I can see…for like…food. But elephant and mouse? Wouldn’t it just be easier to teach your kid how to actually talk. They’re going to be three years old signing elephant. Important things like drink and hungry, that makes perfect sense to me….but elephant?! I would have NO idea what a kid wanted if they signed elephant to me.

  6. Well, it was a great teaching tool. My son had a cold, and I couldn’t understand what he wanted. Finally, he did the sign for chicken and pointed to the fridge. He got chicken for lunch from a very happy mother.
