This video talks about the importance of deaf children being exposed to sign in the home and parental involvement in it. Parents can and should directly teach their children about the world…not just the schools. It would be terribly sad for parents to go through life “thinking” their child understands them when really….the kid just nods yes and wonders what Mom/Dad was trying to say:-( Good info.
