  1. @Theclowcard You are right. If ann had been too kind, helen would have never improved and became the person she became later. An american author, activist and she would have been very frustrated, and unhappy and have lived a miserable life.

  2. @afauaticas3: The way Anne Sullivan taught Helen might be tough but Helen was deaf-blind and also a stubborn child who did not know how to behave with a good manner. If the real Anne taught her with kindness, weak determination to let her act as spoiled as she could, there would be no author Hellen Keller who earned the Bachelor of Arts and became an American author. Descipline is sometimes worth to try.

  3. This is a very tiring scene. I know both Patty and Anne got a really good work out here

  4. Being in that kitchen with Annie trying to discipline Helen is probably being in hell with a while demon child.xD

  5. Why did she poor water on her?! i mean i know when she had to be tuff but THAT tuff?! jjez la weez!

  6. I think things would be a little bit the same way, exept the teacher would probably be charged with child abuse :/
and maybe they would be about to cure her conditions…

  7. yes, but when I did a report about her, it was said that she was a very stubborn child and only wanted her own way (even if she had to fight someone twice her size to get it)
I was also very confused of why they both didn’t get tired lol but I absolutely love the physical art of acting the most!

  8. Both Helen and Annie sure do have alot of fire/energy in them!! I know if i’d been in Helen’s place I would’ve given up about 5 mintues into the fight and just said to myself “FINE, I’LL EAT WITH THE DAMN SPOON!! ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO LEAVE ME ALONE!!” lol But yeah, this is definately an epic scene, almost no dialouge was used, and yet it spoke for itself.

  9. I just feel bad for Helen……But She Needs to learn….If mi child was like her i would teach Her/him to have manners and behave…

  10. I love how Annie doesn’t take any of the family’s crap on how they indulged Helen. They spoiled her to a point where she was a near demon child, and she NEEDED to learn boundaries and consequences.
