When I took beginning ASL class, signing a song was an awesome way to learn. We sang(signed) “Morning Has Broken” by Cat Stevens. After 20 years I still remember much of it!
Cool!
How about the telephone game?
Or “I’m going to the bahamas and I’m bringing….” and each person adds a vocab word on and on and on..
It’s fun reading children’s books using signs.
Fun short songs..
Bingo is a great way to practice number signs..
scavenger hunt? they get into teams and need to sign the things that they need to find…
kids card games.. old maid, go fish, etc…
sign language flash cards…
Depends on if this is beginner class, intermediate, advanced, etc and how many words you are using as well.
Or you could have teams and you/teacher finger spell each word slowly, and the first person on their team who can sign the word correctly gets a point… This is a FUN game!
Hopefully one of these will be a good one for you, or give you some more ideas…. 🙂 🙂
