what is the correct order of words in sign language?

im learning a little sign language in a summer class, since there are some younger students (like 6th grade) and she is teaching us words, but not the right order to make a correct sentence.
can someone put the order of these sentences in the right order and a brief description of what goes first for other sentences?

i have a white cat.

the man ate the chicken.

i went to the store yesterday.

thanks a lot for the help!

  1. it’s mostly the same as english but time always goes first, and adjectives go after nouns they describe.

    ME-HAVE-CAT-WHITE.

    MAN-EAT-CHICKEN-DONE/ALREADY.

    YESTERDAY-ME-GO-STORE.

    hope that helps!Q
