I found Latin and French surprisingly easy
I’m a native English speaker, and I’ve studied Spanish, French, and German. I found Spanish and French much easier than German, even though, like German, English is a Germanic language. About 60% of all English words have French or Latin origins, so it has a lot of cognates in common with French and Spanish, which are both Romance languages.
Spanish is.
latin or spanish
I’d say Dutch would be relatively easy.
I would say Spanish, because I am learning Spanish right now and even some of the words I dont know I can tell what they are because they look and sound like their English partner…
Probably Frisian, I think it’s the closest related language to English. Dutch is also not too hard. Btw, I’ve learned Dutch and Swedish, and found Swedish a surprisingly easy language.
You see it is upto you. Whichever you find easier to understand and pronounce that is ok.
