A good Sign Language course or program will have you doing much more than just “learning the language” You will likely give reports and presentations in Sign, learn about Deaf culture, discuss ethics, and have your class completely conducted in sign. There is so much more involved than meets the eye. American Sign Language has its own grammar structure and has no basis in English. It is a lot of work but worth it if you are commited.
